The last decentralised European Day of Action against TTIP, CETA and TiSA on 11 October was a major success. Hundreds of activities all over Europe took place, several hundred thousand signatures for Stop TTIP were collected and dozens of media articles helped us to tell people about the threats posed by TTIP and CETA. On 18 April 2015 a Global Day of Action will take place and we would like to repeat this success.
What can you do to help?
Have a look at the map of events. Is there anything happening near you? If yes, join in. If not, organise your own event and add it to the map (click on the “+” symbol). Here are a number of suggested activities:
– ask people to sign the ECI. You can download signature sheets at https://stop-ttip.org/signature-lists/.
– organise a public event to discuss TTIP, CETA & Co. (universities, schools, public squares, self-managed spaces, etc.)
– organise a march or a creative campaign action (e.g. a GMO-free picnic where you inform people about the dangers TTIP poses to our food)
– visit your MEP or MP’s office
